I have a thing for going to touristy places just out of season. Still good weather (Well it's bloody hot but that's fine by me), cheap rooms and far less people.
This is my home for at least the next month. Today the tide was real high and most of my end of the was under water. Other highlights included a surprise dead , 2 people casually taking their ox for a walk in the beach and an altogether not too shoddy sunset :)

and it's simple to send files back n forth from my laptop. I created a little bash script to SCP them

Everything can be controlled within the terminal using a text based UI

So I turned my headless Raspberry_Pi in to a CL Dropbox client/file server using the Dropbox Python SDK. Had to learn a lot of Python in the process but I'm pleased with the result. Code and setup instructions are here: github.com/carl-codling/PiDrop

I'm trying to train my focusing abilities with a simple daily #meditation:

I sit on a chair soon after getting up, before work.

With closed eyes I breathe calmly and focus on each breath. I try hard to keep focus on breathing and a point behind forehead between eyebrows.

I deal with inner chatter by not fighting it but leaving it to recede into the background. I setup a timer on my phone.

At the end I tell myself I deserve all the light and love in the world.

It helps a lot!
