BL2 was created to demonstrate how amazingly bad I am at video games.

Installed OpenBSD on another old laptop (anyone remember Compaq?) --- and again, it now doubles as an air fryer. Why does OpenBSD push the CPU fan to 100% even under no load? Thinking I'll run something to see if the machine launches itself across the yard like an uncontrolled drone.

Tooting from a hotel room. Le sigh. 😢

She: Thanks for the card.
Me: I never sent a card.
She: Your friend did.
Me: I guess she cares.
She: She cares about you.
Me: Then why send you a card?
She: To impress you.
Me: Can we not do this?
She: Please sleep elsewhere tonight.

She: You're late.
Me: I stopped at Freddie's.
She: She was at Freddie's?
Me: Really? You're gonna go there?
She: Then stop lying.
Me: It was just that one time. She was not at Freddie's.

Guy at gym: Working out upsets my stomach lately.
Me: Maybe it's the nightly tequila?
Gym guy: Hmm I guess that's possible.

@jordyd is a fork with multiple owners (instead of just one for ) but with fewer features. There is still some debate on which has the more ridiculous name.

She: Was that her?
Me: It was.
She: She has no shame?
Me: She wants us to work.
She: I hardly believe that.

In the opening to Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five, Kurt recounts a conversation with someone who says if you're going to write an anti-war book, "why don't you write an anti-*glacier* book instead?"

> What he meant, of course, was that there would always be wars, that they were as easy to stop as glaciers.

Well good news, Kurt... we figured out how to stop *one* of those two things...

She: You have to decide.
Me: Seems like I have.
She: Then what is it?
Me: You know.

@Averly Write 'em down! Make a book out of it! I'm telling you, it's very therapeutic. 👍

@Averly Alright, now you're freaking me out. I grew up in Green River, Wyoming. From what town exactly did this gunslinger hail? Must have been somewhere along I-80? 😆

@Averly Hey my neck of the woods! You must have been there during it's-not-raining season. 😀

Landed a contract with local university to update some 16-bit VC6 code ... 16-bit VC6 code ... wait, did I just agree to this?

That dirty feeling of switching to OpenBSD while running it in a linux host VM ...
