So Wire Desktop uses $XDG_CONFIG_HOME, but not for configuration! What better a place to put caches and databases than in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME! $XDG_CACHE_HOME and $XDG_DATA_HOME are just so passé

Some KDE apps do that too (store state/cache in config) and it drives me nuts.
