@jordyd I agree. I figure that if you like OSX that much, then stop fucking around with Linux and set up a #hackintosh.
Then again, I think you've seen my ideal Unix desktop. It looks somewhat like this:

If I'm working with text, then a command line interface is all I need. X11 and a good terminal app is all the desktop I need most of the time.
