Has anyone written or read a roundup of apps and services that integrate with mastodon. Either for users or for instance admins? Link?
@Antanicus at least a group of regular users will learn about DNS privacy issues for the first time while another group of users will realise that their ISP or Google aren't the only options.

A new monk shows up at a monastery where the monks spend their time making copies of ancient books. The new monk goes to the basement of the monastery saying he wants to make copies of the originals rather than of others' copies so as to avoid duplicating errors they might have made. Does Facebook consider coercion the same as giving permission, a while back I took these screenshots after a messenger update as part of my collection on evil design patterns… the arrow animates under Ok and the other option is to Learn More, then Not Now, there is NO option.

Does #mastodon support emoji domains or special character or internationalized domains? Would they appear correctly next to a username in the feed or on profile pages. Hmmm this might make it worth testing my own instance.
Somebody should start an 'official celebrity' Mastodon instance, and only let frightened celebs into it so they can all feel safe that their identities have been 'claimed'. Charge them a nominal fee. Make money. That's a free idea, you can have it.
