best I've found is darksky, but they don't have insolation, only some kind of rough cloud cover amount
(smoothie may contain fish)
btw I'm waiting for someone to drone attack my fridge, which currently has no security, but only responds to POST. First one to freeze all the food in it gets a free smoothie.
@cwebber localhost only is not good enough, and the full IP blacklist is quite hard (especially considering IPV6, 4-in-6 etc).
Remember the guy who made his garage door respond to GET requests..
@cwebber yes those
@cwebber I was not sure how to really fit that credit in, but thanks for that
@cwebber btw you had some late-nite toots a while ago that got me thinking about this again
@jamey surely there's a video of this somewhere?
"If a user uses the rclone sync command to migrate data between different Google Cloud Storage buckets, a situation is created where the full contents of any arbitrary URL chosen by the Google Cloud Storage API server will be silently sent to Google."
We're seeing numerous API libraries that subtly trust the security of API endpoints.
"Google has declined to fix the above vulnerability through their security vulnerability reporting program."
at that stage in the countdown where your rocket is just sitting there offgassing
@Greg yeah, your posts are getting out now
@cwebber you can't leave us hanging like that! Turn the truck around, we demand OK!
@Greg curious if that's working for you, since it seems you unfollowed your pub and might not have gotten fully into the network
@schlink manually calculate number of seconds from Jan 1 1900 to the start of the Unix epoch. Then use existing unix time functions, adding that offset.
@Greg anyway no need for a server if you can get a globally routable IP address; run a p2p ssb node..
@Greg yeah, but no -- let's just say that ssb does not meet my requirements for software I run on my servers
(neither does mastadon)
@alanz hairball
at least I get to make a configuration setting with a value of "ACKTHPPT"
@pfm wish I could blame someone else, but it's all me. Me and my damned personal responsibility.
(I've worked 12+ hrs/day for the past 5 days, that after a normal work week.)
