Looked at a github repo page for 10 minutes before I could find where the ssh clone url was hidden in the UI.

This is the UI they convinced people they want, and indeed that this is the only correct UI.

(I now see they highlight the Code button in green so you'll click on it. Rather than say, removing the tab *also* named "Code", or designing a coherent UI.)

@joeyh many such examples of incoherent decisions in their ui as well as data model... i think the most ironic of all is that their forking model, now an essential part of the brand, is basically a regression to svn's branching model. it's really a shame it has become such a de-facto standard and often conflated with git itself =(
