Stopped in at Bop Street Records on the way home. Best store for vinyl in Seattle, maybe anywhere? haven't been there in a couple of months, but the clerk recognized me by name, which was impressive and just makes me love the place more.
oh and I scored a 1975 first pressing of Nighthawks at the Diner. 😍
@evilchili that's an excellent album.
@joerobb it is certainly the best of the Lovable Drunken Troubadour years. he's gotten significantly more interesting as a musician in the years since, but I have soft spot for this.
@evilchili I used to listen to that album, sitting on the roof of my buddy's house late at night, drinking whiskey and heckling passersby tolling out of the bar next door. I have a soft spot for it too. But his newer stuff is excellent as well.
