Eyyyy, I passed my AWS DevOps Pro exam yesterday! Now I have to brush up for my recert on SA Pro in April. 🙃🙃🙃
Cheese strata and sausage pinwheels chilling in the fridge and freezer, respectively; sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies baked; kitchen relatively clean; gifts wrapped and stockings stuffed. Finally in bed, and wide fucking awake. Merry Christmas! 🙃🙃🙃🎄🎁
@starbreaker ugh, I hope whatever it is passes quickly!
@craigmaloney @saganfan They do, if mine are any indication, but they usually just watch them on Netflix or Cartoon Network. Same time, different channel. The OTA channels are making themselves obsolete.
computer like jazz.
live like jazz.
imagine how awful jazz would be if every player was trying to outplay every other player.
cooperate. collaborate. get quiet together and get out of each other's way. take each other's lead. expand on each other's ideas and get excited when someone takes it in a direction you never expected.
enjoy journeying together, for you'll not come this way again in this company.
your entire itinerary is one-way, dig?
look around more.
@pompomtom ewwww...i guess it's better that he ate the rat instead of having the rat in your house...

Bob Altemeyer is a retired psychology prof from the University of Manitoba. His 2006 book 'The Authoritarians' is a few years old now, but is still one of the best books I've ever read on the subject of authoritarianism to date. He focuses primarily on the dangers posed by the authoritarian follower, while saying that authoritarian leaders primarily parrot back what the followers want to hear.
Dear fellow writers of #nanowrimo, please take care of your hands and arms:

After weeks of research I have no idea what "Judeo-Christian values" are.
And I bet you don't either.

@reedsandstrings I had to drop out of community band when my kids were younger. It's a difficult decision but you're doing the right thing. And it's only temporary.

@odinsdream uuuuuugh the office is not a damn meat market dude.
@starbreaker @Annalee @ErykDonovan I haven't, but that sounds really interesting! *adds to reading list*
@Annalee @starbreaker @ErykDonovan I think something like a transporter/teleporter would definitely allow people to live where they want and find work anywhere. It would make travel in general easier, more affordable. Going to visit family or friends would be much easier. If travel time were eliminated, the world would be much smaller.
@ErykDonovan @starbreaker @Annalee I do feel that some of the novels delved into it more, how you could transport from Starfleet HQ over to, say, MIT to do some research for a few hours.
