Note to self: drinking a bottle of wine and arguing politics (or United Airlines) on Facebook is... unwise. You're just going to sound paranoid and delusional, but apparently you'll still be able to make really good arguments.

@jason Don't blame you. Was just thinking funding. :) I'm poor AF.

@daemoneye @jason I need a gig. It just has to be remote. Tech support I can do!

@jason Nice. If you could come up with some sort of proposal for its use, maybe you could crowdfund for it. Though, come to think of it, how do you crowdfund for a URL without some jerk coming along and sniping it?

@u2764 Exactly. I understand why it's entering popular usage. It bothers me much less than the decision to make "irregardless" a real word (I'd still like to stab someone with a spork over that asinine decision), but it still feels like fingernails on a chalkboard.

My roommate has one of those desktop lamps that constantly changes color and our upstairs neighbor's walls are a quite violent shade of pink, so when I come home at night I'm always uncertain what sort of bacchanalia I will encounter
(it's always Seinfeld reruns)

I understand are in order. I'm a photographer & caretaker, seriously klutzy trivia-obsessed queen of useless information with a love of fiction, poetry, alternative country music, & chicken soup. I'm the tech support geek for all my family & friends. I read 100-200 novels a year. I've been widowed twice, but I had two wonderful marriages so I still consider myself blessed. I'm an optimist & a morning person. I'd still like to become a librarian & I want to learn to play the cello.

@Juliana Or just stay up far too late, knowing that you're screwing over Future You, but at least today isn't wasted.

@micahflee @qinaliu I joined Mastadon five minutes ago. Now you tell me! LOL!

This was one of the best things I found on the internet in the past week. The link for Indeed linked to indeed.com listings for claims adjusters. It was glorious.

Obligatory "first post," feeling confused, etc. It's been a while since I got to play with something new, so I look forward to figuring this out.
