They can have their "manual of style", but THEY ARE NOT ACTUALLY IN CHARGE. WE SHOULDN'T TREAT THEM LIKE THEY ARE IN CHARGE. THEY SHOULDN'T FEEL LIKE THEY ARE IN CHARGE.
