CN just revealed that they'll reveal the release date of the next Steven Universe episodes within the next two weeks.

I'd ramble about how their schedule is beyond terrible but shit. It's part of the experience now. It's basically like the homestuck hiatuses except instead of AH posting horse calendars we get capitalist villain CN mocking us with teen titans go. But I guess this is what I signed up for watching a cartoon about traumatized gay rocks. Like, just fuck me up, really.

I really think MS is just doing this because they want to profile as developer-friendly. Because really, I know lots of linux users are just devs that came for the dev tools and didn't give a crap about FOSS at first. Know a lot of CS students like that, and now windows has bash and a fancy electron editor, they really have no reason to go through the scary and time-consuming process that is installing linux.

this is really like cambridge analytica all over again. People getting mad about MS/CA while github/FB has been screwing them over all along. But hey, we get public awareness now so that's cool I guess

so this only half thought and I should go to bed but

you know, microsoft is definitely not the most evil corporation out there anymore (tyvm zuckerberg) but I feel like they might be the most dangerous for FOSS, lots of their FOSS efforts are sketchy (VS Code downloading blobs on compilation, and WSL is just 'embrace extend extinguish' making a comeback)

that being said, they really can't make github more proprietary. Arguably this doesn't really change anything for github.

I'd like to drop some hot take on the new #FLCL but eh. I think it's ok. Too early to really judge. The pillows are still awesome so I really can't complain.
