so being flemish, I've had french class for 8 years because that's just the belgian experience(tm). Never got much use out of it (used to be you'd need french at work because your boss would be hella bourgeois but that's quite passé now and english is the lingua franca anyway). But now I've finally found a purpose for my hard-earned skill.
