Today was my first day on the job at the fish packing plant. I handled more fish today than I've ever seen in my life! I prepped (probably) a few thousand frozen salmon for thawing. I also packaged enough individually wrapped salmon fillets for two dozen Canadian families to eat for a month!

(also, my legs and arms are very sore...)

After the crew loses contact with Earth, they work together to continue the mission without assistance from mission control. The crew face great peril and make amazing discoveries.

The possibility of a major US war against Syria or North Korea and the wide ranging implications that has with respect to relations with Russia or China are gravely concerning. The US has a consistent track record of wanton carnage and desolation. Small incidents can have catastrophic affects when the ownership of the world is at stake.

@Nafrondel "private" is exactly what the other services are: controlled by one company on their infrastructure for the profit of their investors. Of course, all social media is public in that you put information out there for the world to see. Mastodon isn't surreptitiously collecting marketing data and selling ads at me.

Hi octodon, I'm new to mastodon. Social media giants are too powerful and greedy; their only purpose is to make money by selling users' valuable personal information! Free federated social media are community driven and respect your privacy. I hope this concept takes off; it might, given the growing public privacy concerns with "mainstream" (rd. corporate) social media.
