15 minute run today! I'll be back up to a half hour in no time!

Finally got off my lazy butt and started running again! Just 10 minutes today to ease back into it. Felt good!

Ha! Well, I guess I'm glad it's not just us! Seriously though wft?
Someone had to actually go out of their way to break the website. That was someone's actual job. Bizarre indeed!

@ink_slinger

I'm convinced there's someone at CRA who's landed themselves a really great contract. They simply play tetris all day because they've managed to convince somebody that the website needs a person to manually "move bits" around.

The only real work they ever did was to break the website so nobody asked, "hey, how come it still works after you've gone home?"

Does the government even know what the internet is?

I got an email this morning from CRA that my notice of assessment was available. I went to go get it and ran into this page! Do they realize that the internet doesn't close at midnight?

To add insult to injury I didn't get to this page until AFTER entering my login information, and answering additional security questions. If you're going to have operating hours for a website, at least at least tell me BEFORE you make me log in! 🤣

@NeuroWinter
I'm actually pretty good usually. The last time I made it it was perfect! Can't win 'em all I guess

@Canageek
A multi-generational group! That's amazing! I hope your dad gets to keep playing/DM-ing!

Note to self:

When making pad thai at home don't 1) forget half the ingredients and 2) over cook the rice noodles turning them into a mushy, pasty mess.

Oh well, next time!

Had some time on the weekend so I wrote some code and messed with the generation rules to see what else would pop out. Here are some of the ones I thought were most interesting.

Went and saw the new Cirque du Soleil show (Volta) last night. It was great.

I was never on that level but I used to enjoy being on stage and doing my thing. Sometimes I miss it. Sometimes I don't it. Sometimes I wish I'd never run off to be a performer. Sometimes I wish I'd never come back...

Life is weird.

@joshmillard

oof! Yep.

I was 13 when my Dad died. To put that in perspective: I turned 37 this year, he was 39 when he died. He's been dead almost twice as long I knew him when he was alive but this: "I had a dream that my [dad] was still alive" Still happens.

Sometimes I'll see someone on the street that reminds me of him and think, "hey, what if...?" But I'm seeing someone who reminds me of who I remember. In other words, someone my own age! Deeply weird.
