My neighborhood library, now open after a 4-month remodel, has a new, walled-off quiet area! That had, on my first time seeing it, two people talking in it 😕

Everyone in the house is coughing, and I'm afraid to leave my room.

Head's been foggy all day. Here's to hoping tomorrow is much less so.

All the public libraries are closed today, and my fallback library is hosting a talkative event near my table 😭

I think this morning’s caffeine is quickly becoming a liability.

I saw the server at the cafe this morning who knows I write and once gave me a discount on my bill. The receipt read, "Poetry discount."

I was so tempted to eat just chips and whiskey for dinner tonight, but at the last minute I decided to buy some candy corn on the way home.

Huh. And there's another public library branch right across the street.

I found a pretty cool new (to me) coffee shop today. It's not totally my style, but I'm always glad to find places to hang out along my transit routes.

Y'all need to be in the Train Cities today. The weather is gorgeous, just a perfect early fall day 😄

Today: coffee and bookstore date. It should be fun, but I'm in a really introspective mood right now that I'm enjoying. The date feels like it'll just be an interruption 🤔
