@Gogogadgetpants you bring up an excellent point I’d forgotten: I can’t live with cats anymore. I’m allergic.
Once I get settled into my own place around here, I plan to adopt a dog. My roommates’ dogs are nice, but I can’t bond with them in the same way as I can with my own. I want that again.
@jason I'm not allergic to cats, but I've lived with people who are basically my whole life. It sucks, I'm really sorry!

@jason Awww. I'd have clicked that on a dating site. Then again, my dating profile picture was frequently a selfie with a dog whose head was bigger than mine, so maybe we would have been ranked as mortal enemies.
