Here are some good kitties to help you have an awesome day

okay, c'mon, you can do this. Well maybe not this, but at least a tiny bit of this? C'mon, it'll be okay. Just one little bit

We believe in gardens, but not lawns, so we've established a garden and planted a lot of trees and bushes, either fruit/nut or native species, to feed ourselves or our local wildlife.

But we let the rest of the lawn go, and also be naturally brown during the drier months.

A no-no, per our real estate agent, who even brought in a senior RE agent to bolster her claim that I ought to green up the lawn by wasting water.

And that's why I am watering weeds

This morning, I slipped and fell down hard.

My chin hit the floor, my glasses dug into my nose. And first on the scene was my cat Gus, who I kept pushing out of the way of the blood running out of my nose.

After cleaning up my face and the terribly interesting (to my cat) nose blood from the floor, I investigated the cause of the fall, as you do.

Cat puke.

I do not look my best for work this morning. It'll have to do, though

am I weird for wanting to keep sections of the wood railing that the cats used to sharpen their claws to make an art? I mean, I'm supposed to be packing and getting rid of stuff?

okay, I'm awake anyway and the cats are yodeling, so I guess I do something?

A headache woke me up about 15 minutes ago. I'm sitting with an ice pack around my neck shoulders, took aspirin, and am currently drowning my sorrows in water

I think maybe I am clenching my jaw at night? The right side of my jaw is really sore.

and I could use the actual sleep

I think I need a little nap, though. I got up pretty early to start cleaning, and now that all the excitement is over, I'm nodding off

I'm so glad I cleaned obsessively last night and this morning. Someone came to look at the house, while the pest inspector was here

Yesterday was my first full 8 hour work day since... I can't remember?
