This morning, I slipped and fell down hard.

My chin hit the floor, my glasses dug into my nose. And first on the scene was my cat Gus, who I kept pushing out of the way of the blood running out of my nose.

After cleaning up my face and the terribly interesting (to my cat) nose blood from the floor, I investigated the cause of the fall, as you do.

Cat puke.

I do not look my best for work this morning. It'll have to do, though

@dulcet I vaguely remember an old TV news segment busting out the truth of it, but somehow I'm not surprised that the lie still survives. It probably will unless he loses tenure along with all credibility. Even though that didn't stop the anti-vax guy.

If the political climate today says nothing else, it's that people are willing to disregard any inconvenient fact for a compelling lie.

@dulcet Wasn't this broadly known? from when several "guards" explained years ago that they did not come up with the sadistic behaviors, but were following Zimbardo's explicit instructions? And one of the "guards" was especially peeved that Zimbardo had made a career of blaming him?
