What would happen if I decided not to amplify a white man's article, blogpost, cartoon, comic, thought, tweet, newspaper or song for a day? Would I find alternates to keep a curated newsfeed going?
Just like so much of the media seems to have focused on the more superficial aspects of our current Prime Minister (oooh he's wearing bright socks). So too we shouldn't be blinded by the progress of a visible minority in public office at the expense of his actual politics and stance on certain social and political issues.

There is some sort of law of the universe that shit always goes down after management have fucked off home for the night. Always. If something really awful is going to happen, the people earning the big bucks are not going to be here to have to handle it.

You can add a caption, or alt-text, to images you toot!
These captions make your toots more accessible, by giving people who can't see the image a description of what's in the image.
Just hover over the image over you attach it and type a description in the spot that says "Describe for the visually impaired" before you hit the TOOT! button.
Please also encourage Mastodon app authors to add caption functionality. And please boost. Thanks!
