make a well in the center, add a tsp of oil and pour the egg in, stir rapidly still it cooks but not clumps
now add rice already sauced and toss and stir till its all warm and stuff is thoroughly mixed in
let cool, then pack into lunchboxes
@eyebrows 3a/ - mushrooms and/or chicken and/or sausage slices --> can be leftovers too - but something protein, tofu also good
Prep note:
put the soy - light & dark if you have, plus a drizzle of ketchup (or even chilli) into the cold rice and stir for even mixing FIRST
break an egg into a bowl

- in drizzle of oil & medium high heat stir the ginger & garlic
- throw in the veg and mushrooms, stir, add the chicken or sausage
- stir fry till veg limp and meat cooked
3/ Fried rice - I usually make this the night before with leftovers but here's a basic recipe - I've packed & kept it overnight in fridge and then had it out all day in room temp the next day

- leftover rice from the fridge (otherwise it will stick into a clump if its fresh and fluffy)
- sliced ginger and garlic - this can be optional
- some cabbage - sliced or throw in some from the coleslaw
readybag with carrots etc
- soy sauce, ketchup
2/ I make three egg omlettes with mostly these variations that hold up well
a) thinly sliced frankfurter or sausage or chorizo that I fry first before pouring in the eggs
b) sliced mushrooms with a) above or by themselves
cheese as desired, I will also make plain cheese and then fold in a slice of ham or bologna before cutting into three sandwhich fillings

Omlettes will hold up, though I'd keep tomatoes out of them.

@eyebrows which is a longwinded polite way of saying, yes yes but WHAT is the actual room temp where you at :)
@eyebrows :) that's something I'm struggling with myself, given I am now here visiting parents in Singapore (room temp 32 celsius) and live in Finland (room temps can be 15 to 20 degrees lower) so the kinds of things I can leave on the kitchen table there get me into trouble here ;)

What would happen if I decided not to amplify a white man's article, blogpost, cartoon, comic, thought, tweet, newspaper or song for a day? Would I find alternates to keep a curated newsfeed going?
Just like so much of the media seems to have focused on the more superficial aspects of our current Prime Minister (oooh he's wearing bright socks). So too we shouldn't be blinded by the progress of a visible minority in public office at the expense of his actual politics and stance on certain social and political issues.
