progress on the "compiling a game engine for mipsel" front
I'm able to compile my own minimal code, so basic linking works. The engine compiles, but fails to link, with missing symbols like __dso_handle, operator delete(void*), operator new(unsigned int, char const*, int, unsigned int, char const*, int), and system calls that newlib expects. So, I have to figure out what those all are, but: progress!
google results for obscure linker errors: "just use -lstdc++, dummy"
what if I don't have libstdc++
yesss! it compiles!!!!
oh whoops, there's no main()
okay! it compiles and links! and I don't have a way of testing it right now but the debug string I expect is in there!
