thought 2 on virtual spaces

SecondLife made you pay for land.

Isn't that weird? Cyberspace is free.

Spaces in VRChat (and I'm sure others) are totally disconnected, only accessible through warp.

Well, it's not really so weird: there is value in being neighbors of other people or things.

But you could have it both ways! Virtual spaces aren't constrained by Euclidian geometry: you could be next to your friend, and the park, but your friend isn't next to the park, and the park to neither of you.
