I seem to have found a USB drive that breaks Windows. Thinks it needs repair, but that stalls. Can't be ejected. Unplugging it doesn't fix anything (it still thinks it's in). Plugging in any other USB device doesn't work after the drive has been in. Restarting doesn't work (stalls).

Also all of my appdata files are blue now. though they might have been that way before.

I am now trying to reinstall some software that I had installed before but broke, and the installer is stuck. Maybe a total OS reinstall is worth it at this point? All this was from a single bad USB device, how is windows this bad?
