I wish my relationship with most of the other visibly queer students on campus wasn't so complicated. I'm a regular at the LGBTQ center, so people recognize my face and wave, but most of them joined this one greek org (not sure if I should name) and I applied and got rejected for ~cryptic reasons~ (probably too old and uncomfortable with leadership, tbh). I just want to insert myself into a friendgroup to eat lunch with, man. Trans and social anxiety is kinda a bad combo.
On the plus side, spironolactone makes my isolation lunch of seaweed salad AMAZING. #girlslikesalt
The solution is to form my own siblinghood, with blackjack, and sex worker inclusivity, but as a matter of fact? Forget the siblinghood.
@ikea_femme It seems to me like trans and social anxiety to hand in hand. I wish you all the luck in the world at solving a problem that I was never able to.
