BRAIN #SCIENCE
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA
Look I'd have more statistics but my computer is throwing a hissy fit and I'm slightly tipsy, okay? For now you get a moving median. I'll try the Kalman filter later.
@er1n I have a journal I try to write at least a little in every night. I include Mood and Flow for the day on a rating of 1-5. And do it in a consistent fashion so if I ever get around to it, like tonight, I can write a Python script to pull the data out and sanitize the mistakes.
@icefox ohhhh ok that's really cool
it reminds me that i should? maybe journal again? it helped me feel better/more on top of things
and i Totally want to include mood and flow tags in my journal now
@er1n Include whatever you want! I've had other tags come and go but these two have been pretty much consistent since I started using them.
I also highly recommend whipping up a quick script to add a template with the correct (consistently formatted) date and such at the end of the file; it saves so much hassle.
@icefox i use org mode for journaling so it's literally just "** SPC dot m enter enter" to insert the date with a new heading
But I really need to stack it by year and see if there's strong seasonal effects. I can eyeball it and say "yeah probably" but that's not science.
I'm actually surprised at how consistent this is.
@icefox That's really cool
@icefox woah how do you log this
