Is anyone on here in or near #BonitaSprings #Florida right now during #Irma? What’s the current state of things?
My in-laws are down there, and they’re never good about responding to texts of phone calls, so I can’t rely on them to let me know how things are going.
I was given the answer to a programming problem in a dream last night. I’ve heard of that happening, but had never experienced it myself before. Our brains more far more than we consciously know!
@tim I don’t have any direct experience with it, so I can’t say for sure if it’s good, but it at least *looks* interesting.

Going to bed early on the weekend is actually pretty cool, because you then get to comfortably get up early too. I just woke up and realized I now have the whole day to do stuff!
I'm having a dog of a time trying to get async/await working in NodeJS. On top of that, the linter I'm using—jshint—is putting up a fit whenever I try to use it as well. 🙄

I’ve noticed that I sometimes get different search results depending on what Mastodon instance I’m in when searching. Anyone have an idea why that might be?
