β˜‘ What matters more to me than you calling me a man or a woman is you identifying me as a fellow human, capable of giving and receiving infinite love

Honestly its pretty great when children clock me. They often ask me "are you a boy or a girl?" or something similar, and I get to tell them "neither!" or "you can be whatever you want!" Their parents often try to make their kid stop talking to me, but I see the look of possibility in the faces of those kids. It's lovely to see.

ok, hi, I'm new here so I'm introducing myself even if it feels awkward as hell. I'm helena, I write various things including this tinyletter that I love a whole lot tinyletter.com/griefbacon/arch. I live w a small dinosaur named Sophie (there will likely be many pictures). I love New York City an unreasonable amount & I miss the bad old days of both NYC & the Internet (those two are kinda the same thing). I talk about airports and Ondaatje's early writing too much. I'm extremely tall.

so excited post every single piece I publish to here w just the caption "I wrote a thing."

the best and truest luxury is staying in & doing nothing, she said, while getting dressed to go out and do a thing.
