Twitter and the internet are so annoying with their suggestions, their "in case you missed it", their adds... It's this "raw" feeling you get from Mastodon that I love : it doesn't do more than it should
there should be a way to create a global (federated) account for tooting wide world, and if you want to toot local you should access a local instance.
So many follow bots. They are multiplying every hour. Part of me feels like this is the start of sky net. Soon, mastodon will just be a collection of bots #retooting each other with the occasional human thrown in.

I tried making a twitter account a couple of days ago and it blocked me because of suspicious behavior... which was clicking their "first tweet" template and getting followed by two spam accounts. Great user experience. 👌 👌

Since #privacy is hard to achieve. One solution I propose is having an alter ego online.
Create another email under another name and use a different username on a browser that leaves no trace on your machine through a #vpn.
They might be able to #dox you but not your alter ego if you manipulate what you share. Lie online all the time and they won't be able to detect the truth from it. Provide miss information. It is the only way.
