I have a pet spider apparently. It's been sitting on my bedroom window for the last two days, so I caught it with a glass today.

@Talyaa it is ant season here. so probably ants. or flies, since those are around too.

@groofay @Talyaa ants are easier to feed to a spider if you chill then in the freezer for a couple minutes until they're in a torpor. Then you can carefully put them in the web and they don't wiggle free immediately. Your spider will do the hard work after that.

I've taken care of spiders on my window sills, so I've done this a surprising amount. :)

@Talyaa @groofay She was named Parsley and she did a very good job of keeping our kitchen plants pest free! I think she lived for about 18 months, which is awfully good for a house spider. (Also, watching her wrap up insects larger than herself like ants was super neat.)
