Anyone participating in the upcoming science marches? I've been knitting brain caps for it!
@greermahoney I kept meaning to make brain hats but I fell down the rabbit hole of investigating the fastest method of making i-cord, and never even started. I'll be marching though (in Australia).
@Hendery for future reference, the fastest way to make an i cord is to make a crochet chain instead! They don't look quite as nice as an I-cord, but I can do a hats worth of them in a half an hour as opposed to probably 3 hours to make the I-cords. Sew them on to an existing beanie of a similar (or contrasting!) color and BAM! Brain cap!
@greermahoney I'd love to see a photo of one of the brain caps! I'm probably not gonna make it to the march, unfortunately.
