Je n'ai rien contre les capitalistes. J'ai moi-même un excellent ami capitaliste. Mais quand on voit comment ils vivent, leurs femmes voilées dans des foulards Hermès, leurs enfants envoyés de force à l'école privée... Et que dire de leur mode de vie ? Et vas-y que je garde toute les richesses pour moi, et vas-y que je roule en Bentley alors que je ne déclare rien aux impôts ! Ah, ça, pour toucher des subventions publiques pour leurs entreprises et licencier les salariés, y a du monde, hein !
I think it is absolutely essential for tech people to realize that working for EvilCorp is, in fact, evil. And there is no redemption from that by doing a little bit of "activism" or contributing a handful of lines to an "open source" project on the weekend. Stop this form of tech greenwashing.

seriously do your backups. things get broken and deleted very easily. and store them on a different server. at home or on s3 or backblaze or even google drive. many good software: duplicity, borg, ... daily is reasonable but even monthly is better than none. and check them once in a while. if you operate something just have backups. it's important.

Mais ça reste balèze : la #médiologie c'est du matérialisme des idées. C'est l'étude de la façon dont les techniques, et surtout la structure des techniques de communication, façonnent notre vision du monde et notre pensée. Et donc créent un terreau fertile pour certaines idées. Donc une forme de connexion entre personnes qui sont plongées dans le même système technique, un réservoir commun d'idées. Une #noosphère
