@fraggle Sandwich didn't invent the sandwich.

It was common poor-people food for at least a millennia by the time an Earl finally admitted to also eating them.

It's pretty amazing that his name was able to completely wipe out whatever they were called before, even though they were only a new thing to the powdered wig crowd.
