Interesting. At least for @follow_dragon, you can use `#nobot` in yr bio to keep from being en-bot-enated. Seems like a simple, polite practice that other followbots could easily emulate.

OK all Mastodon instance admins. What kind of bandwidth usage are you seeing... wanting to set this up on azure, but don't want to kill myself with bandwidth charges.

I feel like a lot of us who are here on mastodon have kind of been changing some of our ways of doing things anyway. So now, instead of having DM's which even the most responsible instance manager might read, that may be the moment for Signal, etc. Federate our tools as well of our instances.

Remember how Gavin Grimm took his case to the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court didn't make a proper decision, they kicked the case back down to the 4th Circuit?
The 4th Circuit ruled on Gavin's case today. The ruling is one of the most beautiful legal holdings I've ever read, and I strongly encourage all my #trans and #trans-ally friends to read it.
