"Second, Microsoft has developed Azure Stack OS, the -based operating system that will run on those chips — Smith says that while Microsoft is a "Windows company," a full-fledged version of its flagship operating system was too big and too unwieldy for what it had in mind."

@domainhacker la.na, la.na, Lanaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Gah. My nick is in that toot because I first shared it with an AMP link. So I copied the text of the toot, deleted it, and then pasted the text plus an AMP free link. Didn't see my name was in there

Hello fediverse! lib.reviews/ is a free/open/nonprofit alternative to proprietary review sites like #Goodreads, #Yelp, #IMDB.

It plugs into #opendata sources: #Wikidata, #OpenLibrary and #OpenStreetMap (OSM integration is very basic at this point). Still a long way to go but we have a small community and lots of reviews already. On GitHub at: github.com/eloquence/lib.revie - IRC: #lib.reviews on irc.freenode.net - Matrix: matrix.to/#/#lib.reviews:matri

@karen Hey, that's a pretty sweet background you have there! Care to share? :)

What do you know about Martin Luther King Jr, except that he had a dream and fought for it?

It's 50 years since MLK was assassinated. In todays episode of my podcast Kurator I present two of his speeches, the famous one, and one other. You should really listen to both!

Please enjoy:

Extremely interesting to read Martin Luther King's thoughts on capitalism, socialism, communism, and how to create a more just society in this letter to his future wife, Coretta Scott.

«Let us continue to hope, work, and pray that in the future we will live to see a warless world, a better distribution of wealth, and a brotherhood that transcends race or color. This is the gospel that I will preach to the world.»

@cschack Jeg har bare så vidt testa den bittelitt én gang for lengesida, faktisk. Har du en enkel intro-video eller noe å anbefale?

Oh, yeah, and I also mentioned Mastodon and fediverse.party/

Hey, fediverse! Listen up. You'll like this, I promise.

Yesterday I was on Norwegian national radio, talking about how the "monopoly" of Facebook over the public discourse is dangerous and that politicians need to step in.

My sollution? Enforce federation!

That way the free market of social networks can work and the network effect will no longer be a "social DRM" locking people in.
