@gerhildt of course life is a journey with every little detail being important for our ascension and greater awareness - and awakening.

@gerhildt there is nothing more life affirming and empowering than believing that each of us a spark of divinity with the power to alter our minds and change our perceptions and move into better lives - to not do that is to deny evolution and our god given rights.

@gerhildt well it is my belief structure that we are all responsible for our own realities - and manifestations - and by changing our mindsets, we change our realities. i am surprised that this concept is new here - especially in such a forward thinking future based crowd.

@foox @GinnyMcQueen I think both of you are right. There are plenty of wealthy people that try to make a positive difference, but also those that could care less.

@generica thank god, i was worried u hated him too. but the only thing is i read somewhere that...

childhood is when you idolize batman, adulthood is when you realize the Joker makes more sense.

@generica ALL billionaires? what about Batman?

Lobbying congress might be expensive, but guillotines are cheap by comparison. Just something to consider.

@GinnyMcQueen blaming a group - any group - is no different than the racism and sexism we have so strongly tried to overcome. I personally know wealthy people that are trying to make a big difference in the world and their generosity and life affirming actions are felt across all walks of life. i feel your frustration but we have to be careful not to blame stereotypically - because then we are no different than the others.

@generica why do you say "rich people" as if that is a fair stereotype... it could be anything else "women" "white people" "black people" it doesnt make sense to say "rich people" in this context. you could even remove the stereotype completely and say "senior facebook executive believes her own lies" would not that make more sense?

Never in the history of the world had it been possible to transfer value between peoples without relying on a trusted intermediary, such as a bank. In 2008 Satoshi Nakamoto published a 9 page solution to a long-standing problem of computer science known as the Byzantine General’s Problem. Nakamoto’s solution and the system he built from it — Bitcoin — allowed, for the first time ever, value to be quickly transferred, at great distance, in a completely trustless way.

Good news, everyone, I managed to remember to renew the weirder.earth a day before it expired so I know that tomorrow is our one year anniversary of having this domain! :)

I've eaten 48,000 bitcoins and am nowhere nearer to becoming a god, this is bullshit.
