Off to the airport.
There are WAY too many cars on the road for 6AM
Wow I've been going out of my way to insist that my employer does _not_ automatically own any work I do on personal projects while under their employ, but it turns out that California has a law on the books protecting me from this anyway.
(And as such, I don't need to give up something in a negotiation to obtain it.)

Here's a cool thing I vaguely knew about:
You know what? You are all awesome.
Every single one of you.
No exceptions.
I am NOT buying another #HamRadio
Score! Empty seat next to me on this tiny little plane! (CRJ200 for those playing the home game)
Hello #infosec!
I'm researching the topic in light of a "leak" of the Luxembourgish parliament (documents not meant for the public were public if you knew the url, as all documents were sequentially numbered, somebody stumbled onto it by using an automated downloader and later told the press about it)
some questions:
-is there a big difference between people stumbling onto vulnerabilities vs. "ethical hackers"/security reseachers searching for them?
-should both groups being treated equally?
All I can think is Putin must have had a political enemy on that ski lift.
First world problems, right?
Sadly, it means that since I have Southwest as a "reasonable alternative" (different airport, though) I'll have to switch to SW. Not that I have anything against SW, but they generally don't fly where I want to go so any miles I accrue there are useless. Plus, I don't like the whole cattle-car boarding. I like knowing where my seat is when I get on the plane.
Ugh. Delta has moved their 3:30 PM Baltimore-to-NY flight to 5 and jacked up the price on the Thursday return another $200 (so returning on either the Thursday 5pm or the 7pm flight will now cost $560 instead of $360).
I mean, I realize why they're doing that. There's a high demand for Thursday afternoon flights. All the consultants (like me) fly then, and most of them will just pay the fare.
cuddlesluts of the world unite!
"Did it hurt when you fell from Heaven?"
"Considerably. Hitting water from that height is like hitting concrete. Thanks for getting me to shore," the angel said, graciously.
"No problem, I wasn't doing anything else... why did you fall, anyway?"
The angel grimaced, rubbing an injured wing, "Long story. Do you have all day?"
"I have nothing better to do," admitted the mermaid, "Sailors are harder to trick & lure these days."
"So. In the beginning..."
Everything's gonna be alright
It's in the trees! It's coming!
