@rey Back in the day you could hear AM signals from all over the country. Especially on those late-night drives with the old car radios that you could fine-tune manually, it was a trip.

Argh! I was trying to bust through the pileup for 4X70S and it looks like my SOTAbeams Bandhopper appears to have given up the ghost. (I suspect it's the cable, but if I'm lucky it's the connector to the radio -- I can fix that). So I went to get my homebrew 17-20-30 linked dipole and one of the clips is off the wire. That leaves me with the MP1 as the only antenna that I have that can handle 100W. It's good for the field but less good for the backyard.
