It is a cool game. Custodial capture makes it hard to wrap the brain around sometimes. We played it so you scored best out of a series of games, each player taking a turn as king or attacking army. I made my own board. I'll have to find it.

It really is a good podcast, so don't judge the whole show by one ep. The guy really tries to be on the right side of the issues, which makes this one ep even harder.

Serious Inquiries Only podcast is a good pod (Atheism/Science/Philosophy.) But Ep#134 on Nuclear Power failed. My spouse's reply:

'Disappointing episode. You didn't press your guest on any of your concerns and let him get away with rank incoherence. His repeated objection to renewables is that they're not ready now to take over the whole grid's load. His repeated solution: next-gen nuclear, which would require years itself to get built...'

I took a range management class in college and it was one of my best classes ever. I now write ecological sci-fi with soil science in it.

I'm partial to Debian stable with xfce. Sure it's a bit old school compared to KDE or Gnome 3 but I can make it look how I want and it's a pretty simple interface without a ton of bells and whistles (less stuff to break.)
