here's the thing: 'striving for authenticity' is a contradiction in terms. as long as you are reaching for any goal, or reacting away from any pitfall, constructed as separate from yourself, you are being inauthentic. you are denying life


who is the 'you' in 'being yourself' that you can fail or succeed at being them? who would you be if not you, and if so, how would you know? 'hypocrite that you are, for you trust your self to tell you it is a self'
