So what's the standard on posting politically oriented content on Octodon? Doesn't seem to be against the rules (as long as you're not a sexist/racist/Nazi prick), but there seems to be a soft norm against it. Is that right? Should CW code be used? Something else? I welcome anyone's thoughts.
@erie_bound I've been using CW and seen others doing it as well, mostly because my birdcage timeline got so infested with nothing but politics it was ruining my entire day every single day. Not that I should keep my head in the sand, but good lord, we have to remember there is good in the world, too.
@erie_bound from my observations so far, it's somewhat frowned upon. But if you include the content warning sign then it's appreciated, so people have the choice whether to view the post or not.
