@Ghosty Well I thought it would be around 1500 KM but it turns out to be more like 1700 KM...whoops.
It's this route https://www.europafietsers.nl/fietsroutes/groene-weg-naar-de-middellandse-zee and then from Narbonne into Spain. There's a gpx-file on this site but it's rather big (my Garmin doesn't like that), so I'm creating my own gpx-files with the route description in the two booklets and with the big gpx-file.
@gbrnt I didn't know GPSies, thanks for the suggestion. The ability to see tracks created by other people is especially nice.
Using https://openrouteservice.org/ for mapping my cycle-tour from the Netherlands to Spain.
Best online-tool for mapping cycleroutes outside of the Netherlands I have discovered so far. GPX-files are being uploaded to my Garmin-device.

TIL Chrome is scanning your files, including private folders, in the background as an anti-malware measure

There’s currently no “off” switch, but apparently the devs reassure that scans are local and not “cloud” based. But this still has consent and privacy implications

@melissamcewen @wired After Google reader was closed down I moved to Newsblur, still happy with it.
My post about creating your own Mastodon instance got 283 views this week. That's like 5x what it usually gets. 😮 “Part 1: Creating Your Own Mastodon Instance — Getting Started” @uistephen https://medium.com/@uistephen/part-1-creating-your-own-mastodon-instance-getting-started-fd4cb25fe193
