Hey there! Reminder that the Wandering Shop has a CoC and that that applies to accounts the federate through the Shop as well. We can, will, and have suspended accounts that were hard-breaking our CoC repeatedly.
Report early, report often, and we'll act according to our CoC.

Really good article on picking up and #knitting stitches along an edge, by Kate Atherley. Worth reading even for experienced knitters. #fiberarts

I made a meme. Please distribute.
Americans stop calling the cops. Just stop. Please.
If it's not too late to make a New Year's Resolution, I hereby resolve to never again watch a show that includes any variety of cop/FBI/etc in the description of the show.
So over the genre, and done trying to give them the chance that "maybe this one I've heard so much about is better".
Nope.
I've never been into it, and none of the so-called "better" ones are actually better. Just more clever at hiding the grossness.
I don't give a shit if it's a fucking magical world. No cops in fictional TV.

Hi everyone.
Here is a PDF copy of "Toxic Parents" by Susan Forward and Craig Buck. It was referred to me by my therapist and deals with ways to reclaim your life when you have toxic parents (even as an adult).

Re: stinky flowers, the particular stink of this variety is different from the many other stinks that different varieties of hoya produce. They've been described like all sorts of foods (vanilla, chocolate, citrus), and mine is closer to the smell of rotting greenery.
One of the neatest things about hoya flowers is the nectar they produce. It's super sticky and the source of the plant's notorious stink πΈπ¨
