Made a post about Bayonetta. An obviously problematic video game. I wish it weren't such a great game to play because it has a disgustingly high amount of misogyny baked in.

A very interesting discussion is taking place regarding our responsibilities as gamers, how we vote with our dollar$ and the types of games we "enjoy".

I have finished knitting this shawl! Here, to distract you from the fact that I havenโ€™t done any of the final finishing work and a lot of the wrong side is showing, have a cat as well.

The tribbles are attached & I like 'em! My reading tells me I should block before sewing a zipper into a knit garment, so I moved on to the pockets. They knitted up nicely & just remain to be fully attached.

Everything should have pockets. Except cats; they can't be allowed any more power than they already have.

The hoya buds continue their slow process of turning into blooms.

This morning I'm appreciating good tools. Whether sewing, cooking, woodworking or tearing down a car engine, good tools make everything better.

Started on a hat for a friend's birthday. This is a multi-purpose task, as it'll make a nice gift, as well as good practice of a couple concepts. I tend to be a tight, close-to-the-tip knitter, so I'm trying to be a looser, more relaxed knitter. Also, I don't have much experience in combining colours that aren't strictly stripes, so I'm learning sand stitch. I like it so far!
