The coolest thing about my new frames.

One of the neatest things about hoya flowers is the nectar they produce. It's super sticky and the source of the plant's notorious stink πŸŒΈπŸ’¨

I'm not usually much of a selfie person, but I like my hat.

This is why I keep the watering can full at all times; she'll just knock it over if she puts her paw in & can't reach the water.

The hoya no longer has buds... because they've opened!! Welcome, hoya flowers! 🌸

Continuing progress of the little cluster of buds on the hoya.

The recipient of the hat likes it very much & apparently it's quite warm.

I love small crawly things, especially mantids & spiders. Pics ahead! Show more

The tribbles are attached & I like 'em! My reading tells me I should block before sewing a zipper into a knit garment, so I moved on to the pockets. They knitted up nicely & just remain to be fully attached.

Everything should have pockets. Except cats; they can't be allowed any more power than they already have.

The hoya buds continue their slow process of turning into blooms.

Started on a hat for a friend's birthday. This is a multi-purpose task, as it'll make a nice gift, as well as good practice of a couple concepts. I tend to be a tight, close-to-the-tip knitter, so I'm trying to be a looser, more relaxed knitter. Also, I don't have much experience in combining colours that aren't strictly stripes, so I'm learning sand stitch. I like it so far!

Waiting on you to get this stretching class started.
