I departed from København two days ago in the afternoon heading South, faced lots of rain and winds and finally stayed in a shelter once more after 100 km. That meant only about remaining 70 km to Gedser where I would hop on the ferry to Rostock.

The last segment was a real charm and I enjoyed it as much as the first days. In order to get to the Falster island routed me over Storstrømmenbroen with a length of over 3 km (despite cycle route signs being a bit contradictory).

The bridge was built in the 1930s and it shows. Vehicles are limited to 10 t and 50 kmph, additionally the bridge is used for train passage. A new bridge is already under construction and will be finished in 2025 (iirc).
