I found an abandoned kiddie bike in the basement and next week my nephew turns 3 so it is #bikekitchen time again.
@encarsia What's your favoured de-rusting technique?
@sullybiker The bike seems to have been kept under quite dry conditions so it's mostly flashy rust and a classic WD-40 treatment should do.
@encarsia That's good. Some of those chrome finishes on cheaper bikes start to flake and rust pretty fast.
First things first: disassemble most of the parts to judge the state and clean/derust...
