@Anna I think this can be a kind of organic process.
I started with asking questions in forums, then answering ones, then writing stuff down to link in answers...
It is easier to dive into different community/communication 'layers' than just get to the core unprepared. People might be easily discouraged by requirements or seemingly rough tones if they've never dealt with that before (what in my understanding is your target audience).
