@coryw the Pomera looks closer to what I was thinking. The form factor of the Freewrite looks like it would kill either my wrists or neck 😕 I really like the idea of the Boox and other displays I found, but it looks like the refresh rates of e-ink displays just isn’t there yet 😔
@emmykei if you can find an OLPC, the laptops are Not Good but the screen is /god tier/ - sunlight readable while still having a backlight for darkness; it's incredible
the problem is you have to use an OLPC to use it

Freewrite or KingJim Pomera? They're more appliancy (and both fairly pricey) than not but I believe both have e-ink or similar displays.
