I have done small-scale blogging with Wordpress installed on one of my domains for ... probably over a decade? Various incarnations, various topics--everything from ESL teaching to reading books in translation to, currently, running and hiking.

I also read a ton of blogs and I feel like I get a lot out of them. I use Feedly to collect them.

I know. I'm so glad someone scooped her up and took her to the vet, and she ended up in a network of cat people who made sure she landed in a good place.

Here's a photo of #fostercat #2. Her name is Anastasia. She's been with us for about 3 weeks. Before that she'd been living (dumped by owners who moved?) in a parking garage in Manhattan. Basically slowly starving to death. Spouse and I did NOT intend to take in another foster right now but here she is. Eating and sleeping, mostly, and hopefully learning to trust people again.

@virtuosew There's always something. It's like a law of ... publishing?

I also diligently search for the word "pubic" in every single book PDF before it goes to the printer. I am terrified that that will slip in, in the place of "public." (I don't think I've worked on a book yet where "pubic" has been a necessary part of the text.)
